After a long day, starving for a supper. But while you sit down hungry, and all mouthwatering remove the lid from the pan, your heartburn comes up immediately. Shocked the lid falls down from your hand. Silverware clatters off the table. And while the maggots move to the edge of your plate, you ask yourself, will this will be my last meal.
This is a still life of a can brown beans in an alley. In a distasteful way I’ve tried to convey my disgust for this food. This still life is painted with acrylic paint on canvas.
